One beautiful rainy day in Cape Town
we went to the Origin coffee shop in De WaterKant,
at the back of this coffee shop, separated by glass doors
is the Nigiro (Origin spelled backwards) tea room.
We decided to have our coffee in Origin and then moved
over to the tea room- what an amazing experience-
the gentleman working in the tea room had an amazing amount of knowledge regarding the different kinds of teas, the processes
it had to go through, the origin thereof - along the one wall
are rows of small containers each with a different kind of
tea inside on which you can smell. Tea is served in delicate
pots, with bamboo timers, and blue and white porcelain 'cups'
to drink from. The Chinese Artistic teas is highly recommended,
one bud takes 45minutes to create!
